It’s been a while since I've updated this blog, so there are so many things to say…
Ok here we go:
I went to New York twice and one of those times we came back to Portland driving an awesome van, which we were not planning on doing.
Well, first time we went to NYC was to take my citizenship test which I passed.
After that Jaime called us and told us we could have his white van, so that same day after that we packed our bags and took a greyhound bus to Virginia where our trip began.
It was too bad we were not able to spend more time in New York. I really wanted to spend more time with my Mom and Oscar, but well at least we spent a weekend with them.
Once we got to Virginia, Lisa picked us up from the bus station and took us to Jaime’s house. There Jaime instructed me on how to drive the white van, or as we like to call her the “Gorda”.
After that he gave us bunch of awesome stuff like a piano that Janel wanted, a desk that I needed for the longest, 2 bed frames, some lamps, etc..
Then we went to bed and got up the next morning around 8. We ended up leaving the house like at 11am on a Thursday and we got here that same Saturday at 8.30 pm. Yeah we were flying all the way from Nebraska to Oregon.
We got to Oregon very tired and did not even unload anything from the Gorda.
The next day I unloaded everything from the Gorda and gave her an oil change. After that we were ready to go to church.

| I don’t think I have introduced you to our guinea pigs. We have 2 guinea pigs; their names are Piggy and Peepi. Piggy is older than Peepi and we got her first for Amy’s birthday in 2004.
Then we “Janel” notice that she was too lonely and we got her a friend “Peepi”.
The original idea was for them to be Amy’s, then Janel’s, and now they are kind of mine.
Well they’ve been with us long enough to consider them family, we couldn’t leave them in New York, so we brought then with us to Portland.
